Be careful:
During the replacement of the optical module, do not look directly at the fiber interface to avoid laser damage to the eyes.

1.Wear an antistatic wrist strap or antistatic gloves. If you wear an antistatic wrist strap, make sure that one end of the ESD wrist strap is grounded and the other end is in good contact with the wearer's skin.
2. Record the location of the cables on the optical modules to be replaced, and check whether the labels on the cables are correct, clear, and clean. If the label is not easy to identify, you need to re-make and paste the label to avoid errors when connecting the cable.
3. Open the buckle on the fiber interface, then push the fiber connector into the connector and pull it out. Finally, wear a dust cap on the fiber connector.
There are three types of snaps on fiber connectors:
· One is the LC/PC connector, which needs to be pressed to open, as shown in Figure 1.
· One is an MPO connector that automatically opens during the process of pulling the buckle, as shown in Figure 2.
· One is the SC/PC connector, which automatically opens during the process of pulling the buckle, as shown in Figure 3.

5、Remove the new optical module from the package and slowly insert it into the connector until you hear a “click” to indicate that it is installed.
Description:
To ensure successful docking, the new optical module must match the optical parameters of the optical module at its opposite end.
6. Locate the fiber to be connected, find the interface corresponding to the fiber through the label on the fiber, remove the dust cap and connect the fiber to the interface.
Description:
If the docking is unsuccessful, wipe the end face of the fiber connector in one direction with alcohol cotton and try to dock.
If the new optical module does not work properly after replacement, contact your device dealer and local maintenance personnel for technical support.
